FLEX was founded in 1978. Since then, the company has grown to more than 150 employees and 270 credit union customers with a management team that represents some of the most experienced professionals in the industry, having a combined 165 years of experience and service.
James M Simonsen
President
Jim has worked at FLEX since 1982 and served in an executive management capacity for the company since 1994 with the same capable and experienced management team. Jim was previously the chief technology officer and oversaw all software development and hardware functions including product development, and network infrastructure. Jim has a B.S. degree in Mechanical Engineering from Brigham Young University.
Todd B. Lewis
Executive Vice President | CFO
As chief financial officer, Todd is responsible for all corporate finances and administrative functions including accounting, human resources, and legal. Todd has worked at FLEX since 1989 and served in an executive management capacity for the company since 1994 with the same capable and experienced management team. Todd has a B.S. degree in business from Weber State University.
Sean M. Holcomb
Executive Vice President | CXO
As chief experience officer, Sean is responsible for enhancing customer experience and formulating strategic product development while working closely with clients and partners. Sean has been with FLEX since 1988 and has worked in an executive management position overseeing all marketing and sales. Sean has a B.S. in marketing from the University of Utah.
Preston Packer
Executive Vice President | CMO
As chief marketing officer, Preston is responsible for sales, marketing, and revenue operations. Preston has worked at FLEX since 2000 and has worked in various sales management roles over that time. Preston’s focus has been primarily aimed at helping credit unions achieve operational efficiencies through the adoption of the FLEX core system offerings. Preston has a B.S. in Economics from the University of Utah.
David K. Johnson
Executive Vice President | COO
As chief operating officer, Dave is responsible for operational support, training, and client operations. Dave manages and handles the daily business operations at FLEX and works closely with department leadership teams and supervisors to support the day-to-day activity of FLEX employees who work directly with clients. Dave has worked at FLEX since 1991 and served in an executive management capacity for the company since 2009 with the same capable and experienced management team. Dave graduated from Utah State University with a degree in Finance.
