Transmissions

The FLEX Transmissions course is designed to equip credit union staff with the insightful expertise required to manage the comprehensive functionality of the FLEX system across ACH, Card, and Share Draft processing, all of which are integrated into a unified interface.

Participants will gain foundational knowledge in configuring ACH Companies & Accounts and Distributions, including defining parameters for partial payments and priority posting. The training details the process of originating ACH files, including managing member-generated transfers via online banking and ensuring compliance with new standards.

A critical focus is placed on card operations, where you will master daily online card balancing procedures, utilize the Positive Balance File (PBF) for updating processor balances, and efficiently manage card records, limits, and immediate re-issues. Crucially, this course provides structured guidance on managing exceptions, returns, and denials across all platforms, detailing when to use override codes for posting exceptions and when manual offsetting General Ledger (GL) entries are required to maintain balance.
