1. Individual IRA Withholding Configuration

Question: Can a different withholding amount be set for an individual IRA?

Answer: Yes, custom federal and state withholding amounts can be configured for individual IRAs.

  • Procedure:
    1. Navigate to IRA/HSA Maintenance.
    2. Input the desired Federal and State custom withholding amounts for the specific individual/suffix.
    3. Verify the settings in Share Maintenance for Federal and State Withholdings.

2. New Teller Setup and Transaction Posting

Question: A new teller was set up by copying an existing teller, but they cannot drop/post transactions. Why?

Answer: When copying an existing teller, it is crucial to also copy their program security settings.

    1. During the teller copying process, ensure the “Copy Teller Program Security” option is selected.
    2. This action applies the necessary program security permissions to the new teller, enabling them to perform transactions.

    2. Locate the “Suppress Receipt for ON-US Check” section.
    3. Indicate whether to suppress Debit Receipt or GL Receipt as required.
