Teller Password Maintenance

This document provides technical guidance for using the Teller Password Maintenance feature within the FLEX system. This feature allows users to reset their teller passwords.

Accessing Teller Password Maintenance

To access the Teller Password Maintenance module:

  • Navigate to the FLEX Main Menu.
  • Expand the “Teller” section.
  • Expand the “Teller Maintenance” subsection.
  • Select “Teller Password Maintenance” from the list.

Understanding the Teller Password Maintenance Screen

The Teller Password Maintenance screen provides fields for managing teller passwords. Below is a description of each field:

  • Teller ID:
    • Description: Displays the unique identification number for the teller whose password is being maintained.
    • Example: 200
  • Name:
    • Description: Displays the full name of the teller associated with the displayed Teller ID.
    • Example: Nikole Dalton
  • Password Section:
    • New Password:
      • Description: An input field where the user enters the desired new password for the teller.
    • Confirm Password:
      • Description: An input field requiring the user to re-enter the new password exactly as typed in the “New Password” field to confirm accuracy.
  • Last Update:
    • Description: Displays the date when the teller’s password was last changed.
    • Example: 12/22/2015

Performing a Password Change

To change a teller’s password:

  1. Access the Teller Password Maintenance screen as described in “Accessing Teller Password Maintenance” above.
  2. Locate the “New Password” field within the “Password” section.
  3. Enter the desired new password into the “New Password” field.
  4. Move to the “Confirm Password” field.
  5. Re-enter the exact same new password into the “Confirm Password” field.
  6. Click the “Save” button to apply the password change.

Note: The system requires the “New Password” and “Confirm Password” fields to match precisely for the password change to be successful.
