FLEX Ten FLEX Ten Member Services FLEX Ten Check Disbursement Maintenance

1. Navigation

To access both Automatic Transfer Maintenance and Check Disbursements:

  • From your Main Menu.
  • Navigate to the Operations folder.
  • Then select the Transfers folder.

Note: In FLEX Ten, Automatic Transfer Maintenance and Check Disbursements are now presented as two distinct menu options, a change from the Juice system.

2. Automatic Transfer Maintenance

This section details the functionalities for managing automatic transfers.

2.1. Overview and Key Changes from Juice

  • List View: A major change in FLEX Ten is the list view for automatic transfer maintenance. Unlike Juice, where you had to select an account first, FLEX Ten displays all currently set-up auto transfers directly in your main panel.
  • Table Customization:
    • You can export the table containing auto transfer data. To do so, you must first select a name for the file before the export option becomes available.
    • You have the option to deselect or select columns and arrange columns as you see fit to eliminate unnecessary “noise”. This customization feature is consistent across FLEX Ten.
  • Filtering: Utilize the filter option on the side to search for transfers based on Next Run, Last Run, and Frequencies.

2.2. Adding a New Auto Transfer

To add a new automatic transfer:

  1. Click on the + (plus) option on the page.
  2. Required Fields: Items that require input will be indicated by an asterisk (*) at the end.
  3. Missing Items Indicator: A new yield sign at the bottom of the screen will notify you of any missing required items. The Save button will not be available until all required fields are completed.

2.3. Posting Log (History)

  • When you select an account from the main panel, a Posting Log will appear.
  • This Posting Log serves the same function as the Posting History in Juice.
  • FLEX Ten now provides the option to filter out noise to view specific account history, whereas Juice displayed all history together for all accounts.

2.4. Worksheet Generation

To generate a worksheet for an auto transfer:

  1. Click the Worksheet button.
  2. Select the Effective Date.
  3. Choose a Posting Group (e.g., “loan”).
  4. Click Generate.
  5. Viewing the Worksheet: Unlike Juice, where a pop-up would display the worksheet, in FLEX Ten, the generated worksheet is found in the Notifications button at the top of the screen, under the Jobs tab. Click Viewpoint Preview to display the worksheet.

2.5. Posting Process for Auto Transfers

  • Generation Quantity:
    • If you do not click the Print Preview button, only one posting item will be generated.
    • If you do click the Print Preview button, two posting items will be generated.
  • Completion Notification: Once completed, a notification will appear (e.g., “automatic worksheet has been completed” or “automatic transfer just posted completed”).
  • Accessing Posted Items: Go to the Notifications tab at the top, then select Jobs to view the worksheet and subsequent posting. This is particularly useful for tellers to confirm if another teller has already performed a posting for the day, complete with the date and time.
  • Recommendation: It is suggested to script your posting process if it is not already. The support team can assist with this.

2.6. Missing Features (Work in Progress)

  • The Audit button, which was present in Juice, is currently a work in progress and will be brought over to FLEX Ten.

3. Check Disbursements

This section covers the process for managing check disbursements.

3.1. Overview

  • Navigation: Access via Main Menu > Operations tab > Transfers > Check Dispersers.
  • Interface: The check disbursements page has a similar appearance to the automatic transfer maintenance page.
  • Search Functionality: You can search for checks by name or account number, similar to the search functionality in the Taylor screen.
  • Table Customization: Like other FLEX Ten tables, you have options for exporting the table and using the filter option.

3.2. Adding a New Check Disbursement

  • Click the + (plus) sign to add a new check disbursement.
  • Missing Items Indicator: Similar to auto transfers, the yield sign will alert you to any currently missing required items.

3.3. Posting Process for Check Disbursements

  • You can run a posting for check disbursements.
  • Upon completion, a green sign will indicate that the posting is complete.
  • You should then be able to view the completed posting in the Notifications tab.

3.4. Missing Features

  • The Audit button is currently missing but is expected to be included later.
  • The Worksheet button is not available for check disbursements.
