This documentation provides a guide for users on how to effectively customize and manage their menu favorites within the FLEX Ten system, aiming to enhance user efficiency and navigation.

1. Understanding the Favorites Section

  • The menu in FLEX Ten is organized into six different sections.
  • The Favorites section is prominently located at the very top of the menu.

2. Adding Items to Favorites

To add a specific menu item to your Favorites for quick access:

  • Select the desired menu item.
  • Right-click on the selected item.
  • From the context menu that appears, select “add to favorite”.
  • Once added, the item will instantly become visible under the “favorite section” in your menu.

3. Organizing Favorites with Folders

FLEX Ten allows you to create folders within your Favorites section to keep your items well-organized:

  • To Create a New Folder:
    • Click on the folder icon (implied for adding folders).
    • Name your folder as desired.
  • To Move an Item into a Folder:
    • Grab the favorite item you wish to move.
    • Drag and drop it down directly into the target folder.
  • To Rename a Folder:
    • Hover your mouse cursor over the folder you wish to rename.
    • Right-click on the folder.
    • Select “renaming” from the context menu.
  • To Remove a Folder:
    • Hover your mouse cursor over the folder you wish to remove.
    • Right-click on the folder.
    • Select “remove the folder” from the context menu.

4. Managing Favorite Items

You have control over removing favorite items and re-organizing them between existing folders:

  • To Remove an Item from Your Favorites:
    • Hover your mouse cursor over the favorite item you wish to remove.
    • Right-click on the item.
    • Select “remove favorite” from the context menu.
  • To Move an Item to a Different Folder:
    • You can also move an item to any of the different folders you have already set up.
