FLEX Ten Account Access and Verification
This document provides technical guidance on accessing and verifying member accounts within the FLEX system (www.flexcutech.com). Efficient account access and thorough identity validation are crucial for security and accurate member service.
1. Accessing a Member’s Account
The primary method for accessing a member’s account in FLEX Ten is through the Account Search field.
- Direct Account Number Entry:
- Locate the “Account Search” field (typically at the top of the FLEX interface).
- Key in the member’s account number directly into this field.
- Press Enter.
- Alternative Search Methods (if account number is unknown):
- If the account number is not known, click the magnifying glass icon next to the “Account Search” field.
- This will display a list of advanced search options, which are consistent across other FLEX applications. These options typically include searching by:
- Member Name
- Tax ID (SSN)
- Phone Number
- Address
- Other relevant criteria
2. Validating Member / Authorized User Identity
Once a member’s account is accessed, the system will prompt for identity validation of the member or any authorized users.
- Left Panel – Member/Authorized Users List:
- The left panel of the screen will display a list of all individuals associated with the selected account. This includes:
- Primary Member
- Joint Owners
- Authorized Signers
- Beneficiaries
- Click to select the specific Member or Authorized User whose identity needs to be validated.

- Right Panel – Validation Details:
- Upon selecting an individual, the right panel will populate with their personal and verification information.
- Key Information for Validation:
- Name: Full legal name.
- Date of Birth:
- Age:
- Individual/Business/Organization Type:
- Contact Information: Home, Cell, Work phone numbers, and address.
- Mother’s Maiden Name:
- Keyword: A security keyword for verification.
- Driver’s License/ID Information:
- Driver License Number
- Issuing State
- Expiration Date
- (Note: A sample expired New York State Driver License is shown, indicating the system handles various ID types and statuses.)
- Relationship to Account: Primary, Joint Owner, Authorized Signer, Beneficiary.
- Sub-Account Access: Indicates which sub-accounts the individual has access to.
- Verification Process:
- Review Displayed Information: Carefully review all available information to verify the individual’s identity.
- Enter Keyword: If a “Keyword” field is displayed, enter the correct keyword provided by the member.
- Review Notes (if applicable): If there are any required notes associated with the member or account, review them as part of the verification process.
- Photo ID (if stored): If a Photo ID is stored for the member, it will be displayed for visual verification.
- Items Requiring Verification: Any specific items requiring validation (e.g., Social Security Number, Date of Birth, Address, Phone, Email, Relationship, Account Access Level) will be highlighted or appear near the “Verified” button.
- Complete All Verifications: Ensure all necessary verification steps are completed.
- Click the “Verified” button to confirm successful identity validation.
- Click “Cancel” to abort the validation process.
3. Quick Transactions from Account Access Screen
After a member’s account is accessed and validated, you can initiate quick transactions directly from the member’s profile.
- Accessing Quick Transactions:
- Once the member’s account summary is displayed, locate the “Quick Transactions” field (often a prominent input field near the top of the member’s account view).
- Alternatively, click the “Quick Transactions” icon (e.g., a briefcase or similar symbol) to open a dedicated panel for quick transactions.
- Performing a Quick Transaction:
- In the “Action” field, select the desired transaction type from the dropdown (e.g., “Cash Withdrawal,” “Deposit,” “Loan Payment,” “Teller Check,” “Transfer From,” “OP Code Credit Transfer,” “OP Code Debit Transfer”).
- Enter Transaction Details:
- Member Name: The system will typically auto-populate the validated member’s name.
- Sub-Account: Select the relevant sub-account for the transaction.
- Amount: Enter the transaction amount.
- Description (Optional): Provide a description for the transaction.
- Operation Code (if applicable): For OP Code transfers, select the specific operation code (e.g., “Coin Counting”).
- Effective Date: Adjust if necessary.
- Apply Loan Payment (for Loan Payments): If performing a loan payment, the system will prompt you to specify how to apply the payment (e.g., “Principal,” “Interest,” “Late Fee,” “Next Payment”). Select the appropriate option and click “OK”.
- Confirm/Post Transaction:
- The transaction details will appear in the active transactions panel.
- For cash transactions, a “Drawer” window will appear, allowing you to enter cash denominations.
- Confirm the transaction details and click “Post” to complete.
4. Cancelling Transactions
- Cancelling a Single Transaction:
- Within the active transactions panel, locate the transaction you wish to cancel.
- Click the “X” or “Cancel” button next to that specific transaction.
- Confirm the cancellation if prompted.
- Cancelling All Pending Transactions:
- Click the “Cancel Transactions” button (typically located at the bottom of the active transactions panel).
- Confirm that you wish to cancel all pending transactions.
